Oooppsss…I totally forgot to blog last night, one of you e-mailed me, thank you, so nice to be missed. So, first I’ll cop to one thing: I lied. I didn’t forget. I wrote for half an hour and had two great starts but again, not ready for release so I decided that if it isn’t good enough for me, it certainly isn’t good for you. I can’t just amuse myself at your expense you see… : )
Now, it’s Friday night and I’m tired early, it’s been a long, great day…and bc I’m feeling somewhat inspired after a dark day and a half, ah it was half hormonal and half too much bad economic news, nothing to worry about really, (it was interspersed with several hours of heaven’s bright light after all) and I want to set your weekend up to inspire you.
I didn’t pick this video, it picked me…and you’ll see why, it directly addresses my personal attitude which is, if someone isn’t dead or gravely ill (even if they are either, what can you do?) what’s to stress too long about, life dealings/things get handled, always, somehow, right?
Anyway…
This video was sent to me awhile ago by an Aussie pal living in Singapore, I let it sit in my queue of ‘half written’ blog entries until..now…let’s think of it as a gentle nudge back to the reality of ‘not sweating the small stuff’ (or the big stuff either, just stay present, big and small stuff will sort out) and being thankful for what we’ve got right now. I’m good at this since I can’t really plan past next Friday : )
This man is a fascinating ‘love’ story…check it out…it’s called ‘no arms, no legs, no worries’
Now, isn’t he a love? I just want to hug him and wish him the very best. You just can’t help feeling love for him, for humanity as well as love and appreciation for yourself and all you’ve got after watching that, can you?
Ok, that’s all she wrote, folks, so go seize the weekend ; )
Thoughts and comments are always welcome and thank you, RK, for the blog reminder, the fact that you missed me made me feel wanted and for me being wanted is even better than being loved, love is too complicated (and friggin’ demanding), hahaha…click and write or e me @ Lmdevin@att.net
